In 1994 WATEC began earning a reputation in the United States military water community for its expertise and efficiency in every aspect of water purification technology.
In 1996 WATEC's superior ability was rewarded with a contract to develop and operate the U.S. Army Coastal Water Purification Training Center at Fort Story, Virginia. WATEC was rated superior, highly skilled, and uniquely qualified for achieving maximum efficiency in military water purification operations.
In 2002 WATEC and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) signed a 10 year contract to improve parts and service support for water purification equipment. In January 2004 WATEC was presented with the Prestigious DLA Outstanding Readiness Support Award and commended for superior product quality, on-time delivery, and superior customer service related to this contract.
To ease access to its products and services for individual military customers WATEC sought and was awarded two GSA contracts in 2004. Through these two contracts all of WATEC’s services and many of our most innovative products are available to GSA and LOGWORLD customers.
Feeding on its success serving the military community, WATEC has expanded its services into the commercial arena. Now with offices in six states and México, WATEC provides worldwide water solutions from engineering design assistance to complete turn-key purification solutions.
