Armor Plating
Armor plating fabrication is our specialty. From basic pattern cutting for military up-armor kits to extensive fabrication for armored assemblies, WATEC offers expert service and top quality products with the fastest turnaround times in the industry. Your safety is our priority and our facility allows alloys to be reheated to ballistic quality after working. In addition to fabrication, we can provide third-party ballistics testing, alloy selection, and armor design consulting services.

Plasma Cutting
WATEC’s Koike Aronson 300-Amp CNC controlled plasma cutter can turn your CAD files into precision-cut metal from stock up to two inches thick in sheets as large as 8 by 20 feet. This remarkable machine can cut individual items or large quantities, tiny parts, or enormous plates.

Metal Working
WATEC routinely works with large, heavy materials in a wide variety of special alloys. We can bend tubing up to 2-inch schedule 80 stainless steel, bend 10 foot sheets with our 175 ton hydraulic brake presses, and punch, brake, and cut small structural parts with 50-ton Scotsman Ironworkers. Our 10-foot digital lathes, milling machines, band saws and large pipe threaders compliment the unparalleled skills of our metal craftsman.

Welding
WATEC’s highly skilled welders use 300-amp Millermatic MIG machines and 300-amp Miller Dynasty high-frequency TIG machines to expertly craft everything from heavy 2205 stainless steel piping manifolds and exotic alloy armor plate assemblies to small custom plumbing fittings and adaptors. No project is too large or too small.
