TACOM is in the process of initiating a Preventive Maintenance Magazine article regarding new fire extinguisher and fire extinguisher bracket NSNs for all 3,000 gallon per hour ROWPUs.

KECO model ROWPU-1 units were originally equipped with fire extinguisher 4210-01-442-9695 and bracket 13229E0325-2. AquaChem model WTA-060 units were supplied with fire extinguisher 4210-00-270-4512 and bracket 4210-01-421-7949. When replacing either of these fire extinguishers the new item, NSN 6830-01-351-3112, and bracket, NSN 4210-01-541-9820, should be used.

Each new bracket comes with two rubber securing bands. Should either securing band need replacing in the future they may be ordered separately using NSN 5340-01-395-9252.

When replacing original fire extinguisher (4210-01-442-9695) and original fire extinguisher bracket (13229E0325-2), use the new fire extinguisher (6830-01-351-3112) and the new fire extinguisher bracket (4210-01-541-9820).

AquaChem Model WTA-060 3K ROWPU
When replacing original fire extinguisher (4210-00-270-4512) and original fire extinguisher bracket (4210-01-421-7949), use the new fire extinguisher (6830-01-351-3112) and the new fire extinguisher bracket (4210-01-541-9820).
