Innovative Machine Technology of North Carolina (IMT) is a division of WATEC, Incorporated. IMT was established on August 1, 2003 in Bladenboro, North Carolina to serve as a rebuild facility for the U.S. Army Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Units. Through this highly successful project IMT demonstrated excellence in electrical, structural, plumbing, painting, and sheet metal work.
Since opening with just 28 employees in a 63,000 square foot shop, IMT has grown substantially and can now utilize the talents of as many as 145 employees over two weekday and one weekend shifts to meet the needs of our customers.
